Luna d'Italia

The restaurant is Italian style. The name is Luna d'italia (月之義大利餐廳)

There are many restaurants of Italian style in Taiwan, but Luna d'italia is the best one in my mind.

So, I strongly recommend this restaurant to you.

The restaurant is known for it's high class but the acceptable price.

This is Pancake, and it's free.

It tastes good, when eating the Pancake, you will take one bite after another.

Spinach salad

It's my first time to eat salad with spinach.

Spinach salad smells good and tastes very refreshing.

Stewed Ink Squid Rice

The dish has heavier taste and delicious for me.

There is full of Clam and Squid.

I believe you will like this dish too.

Roast Brulee

It's my favorite dessert.

Do you prefer to live with roommates or you prefer to live by yourself

Opinion A

Living with roommates can be good or bad, but I need privacy and my own space. Therefore, I prefer to live by myself. My reasons are as follows.

First, living by myself, I don’t need to care about roommates’ feeling. For example, sometimes I get insomnia and I often watch television or listen to music for helping me get asleep. It might bother roommates. Therefore, when the test of school is coming I always study all night and it keeps me from having a life as regular as roommates.

Second, living by myself, I can get naked at home. It’s comfortable for me. If I live with roommates it would not be so relaxing. For me, we need to wear clothes when we are out, so when we get into our house, we should take them off.

Opinion B

I prefer to live with a roomate because living by my self, I can’t get help easily. For example, when I forget my key, nobody can open the door for me. Likewise, When I suddenly get sick at midnight, nobody knows.

Moreover, living by myself, I might be lonely. I have to watch television and eat food alone.

Concluding the above reasons, I like to live with a roomate.

marketing tactics

Recenty, I had seen three movies but they didn't meet my expectation. The three films were Dear John, Bunty Hunter and Precious.

The movie trailers look wonderful and make me want to see those movies. Actually they are not good enough for me. And I like to give scores for movies.It's in order to define a level of movies. So, if a movie is higher than 80, it means good, between 70 to 80, it means ok, less 70, it means boring and bad. In the cases of movies, I give them scores separately,they are 75 , 70 and 60 respectively. Now you can know how a movie disappointed me.

For me, those editors of movie are not doing their best, but their marketing tactics are successful.

The next one I want to see is "It's Complicated" and I hope it's a good film. If anyone has seen this film, leave a message about film please.

The Statue of Liberty

→ This is a picture of The Statue of Liberty

and we can see she holds aloft a torch in her right hand and a tablet in her left hand.

The reading passage is talking about the symbol of United States which called The Statue of Liberty.

We know the Statue of Liberty sits in New York and it brings a lot of visitors coming.

I think many people don't know the statue's background, just like me. After I reading the passage and I get some meaning of the Statue of Liberty.

First of all, the statue was presented to the United States by France to memorize the alliance between the two countries of the American Revolution.

Secondly, people always erroneously assumed the statue was built by United States. In fact, it was designed by a Frenchman. While the American did not create the staute but the 154-foot pedestal supporting it was designed by two Americans.

Thirdly, the pedestal of statue contains steel underpinning which was designed by a Frenchman, who also designed the Eiffel Tower of Paris.

Finally, the state of New Jersey has argued that the statue actually more fall within their place than the New York state. As a result, New Jersey asserted that the Statue of Liberty is their property.

Introduction of a film - Dear John

I'd like to introduce a movie which I saw last week - "Dear John."

Everyone knows the movie is adapted from a book and the writer is Nicholas Sparks.

The movie, Dear John, it's describes a man (John) who fall in love with a woman and they have a long distance relationship. They kept contact by letters. The woman can't stand alone, so she wrote a break up letter for John. The beginning of the letter is Dear John and it is the key point of this movie. (This is why the original book is named Dear John.)

After several years, they meet again and the woman had been engaged to their mutual friend. The friend got cancer and they needed much money to cure the disease. Then, John sold a huge number of rare coins to help her husband anonymously. Those coins are his father's collection before his father died.

We realize one thing. It is even through a long time John still loves her deeply and just hopes her life is good and happy.


I think it is a beautiful film and is good for eveyone to see the movie.
