Is the traditional skill still important for us?
When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
I disagree with this opinion that traditional skills and ways of life should die out. The traditional skills are the basic ways for the technology. If without traditional skills, there will be no progress in technology. That is to say, the ancient life becomes a modern life that we live today. I think the traditional skills have its value to survive. My reasons are as follows.
First of all, traditional skills are the foundation for a country’s technology. A traditional skill also symbolizes a nation’s spirit and it means a country’s effort in the past. We know early people used the traditional skills to earn more money by themselves. They use the raw materials that they can find or already knew to make a living. For example, the weaving skill that is female’s professional skills in the past. They use their instinct to produce products such as bamboo that become a hand-made basket.

Not only products need a fine package but people also need a good looking. For instance, a start looks shining and beauty after dressing, in order to attract the attention of the audience and be known. After the step people will expect their works. They may shirk their responsibility for studying and blame for teachers. Nowadays it is common phenomenon that many teachers left their teaching jobs because of loss of motivation due to unfair commence from certain students. The evaluation system makes teachers loss of authority, especially those who misbehave in an intolerable way, who make teachers feel humiliate and incapable of maintaining the classroom order.
In addition, if students are asked to assess teachers, they may adopt a biased attitude towards some teachers and give negative comments on them. For example, a student given a fail grade due to poor performance in class or in exams and the student may hate his teacher and therefore takes the assessment to revenge himself on the teacher by giving him under-served negative comments. Currently in many schools, some teachers are worried about being revenged when it comes to evaluation. As a result, the assessment has led to a bad phenomenon among teachers, who will make every effort to win students' favor. Thus, teachers no longer devote themselves to teaching. From a perspective, this will definitely deteriorate the quality of a country's education.

I disagree with the statement that a person’s success in life can only be measured by money. Although we often judge people by their professions and how much money they earn, it doesn’t cover the whole story of success. My reasons are as follows.

I think the satisfaction is more important than how much money they earn.
Most of all, we can measure a person success by his dream and his hard. Besides, we can measure it by relations from family and friends.
I disagree with the statement that a person’s success in life can only be measured by money. Although we often judge people by their professions and how much money they earn, it doesn’t cover the whole story of success. My reasons are as follows.
First, a person make dreams come true also a performance of success. They hardly achieve the destination of life and get satisfaction through the process. The dreams not only earn much money, but maybe also is non-profit dreams. Such as being a pianist, singing in a choir and traveling to places. They possession of the goal is a success.
Second, a person who hard to open a business is more successful than one who simply be a successor from a successful parents. Introduction to a restaurant
It is time to share some delicious food. I fell in love with a restaurant recently and I went to there two times last week. I like their fresh salad, good quality of meat and the atmosphere of the restaurant. In there, you won't feel tight and rush in spite of the place is not big. Therefore, you can have a very comfortable dining.
For me, I can't forget the taste of food. The reastaurant's name is " 鷹保52" in Neihu. The name with digital is because of it located Sec.52. Besides, another restaurant is called "鷹保92" that located sec.92 in Bade road. Sounds creativity doesn't it.
By the way, they don't offer clients menu.

Making a Complaint in Person or in Writing
You have just received poor service while buying your new computer and feel you should complain. Do you make your complaint to someone in person, or do you prefer to write a letter of complaint? Include details in your explanation.
Despite the temptation to complain immediately, I think emotion can’t deal with problems as well. Complaining immediately gives some emotional satisfaction and the listener can see the very real upset I am feeling, but it might miss the point of complaining. I prefer to keep a cold head and write a letter which is more effective. My reasons are as follows.
First of all, a letter lets me document the incident and is less bad feeling in the end or yelling at someone. The clear describing of letter is more convincing and is emphasizing my attitude to this incident. Perhaps the service person needs more training or their store’s policy needs improvement.
Second, the purpose of the letter is in order to find the person in authority that can act on my complaint. If I argue at the time probably just a clerk to step in there to handles my complaint. Only the right person can thoroughly resolve my problems. The manager might choose to apologize or to offer me a discount of good service to customers.

What is the government should do
Governments are leaders of society, who decide on how the money spent will affect people’s benefits. Some people think governments should spend as much money as possible exploring outer space but others against the argument and think governments should spend the money for people on Earth. Therefore, I agree with the argument that governments should invest money in helping people for two reasons.
The first reason to support invest in people is that the tax paid to governments every year from people and the tax should be used on them directly. People and the society have many problems that need to be solved such as building public facilities to prevent floods. If governments build drainage systems well when typhoon comes, an accident like the 88 floods won’t occur. Governments should think more and spend more money improving facilities of cities.
The second reason is about stimulate economic development. Each material rises, governments have to enhance people’s consumption ability and faced the pressure from inflation. Governments need to spend a large amount of money on relief, provide a solution to house buying and helping poor family to find a job and something else. Recently, our government provides consumption coupons for people to use to stimulate economy which is a good example.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Do you agree or disagree with the statement?
I agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, because individuals see the world in their own personal way. It is always described a person’s sense of beauty, so it’s a famous phrase in the world.
First, I think beauty depends on personal preference and it reflects the tastes and opinions. This personal view holds beauty is whether view in a person or an object of art. This personal’s idea of beauty maybe is rooted in his or her own preference mixed with his or her own culture.
Second, the phrase it means personal’s preconception of beauty. For example, we perceive people more beautiful as we come to know them better. Of course, people never think a person who they dislike is beauty. Therefore, everyone has their different standards of what is beautiful. Somebody decide in inside and outside of a person and maybe others think appearance is most important.

I know a car is named Ford, but I never know the history of it. Today I will share the information from my book which I read. Let’s see about the story.

The reason is low wages, heavy workloads and the monotony of the assembly line to make labors flow volume. So the above reasons reduce the productivity of industry. In order to stabilize situation, Ford increases almost $5 per day of wages to labors.
However, Model T is sales well, but it lack innovation. Finally, Ford can’t compete with others, such as General Motors.

Chores
Children should be helping with chores in the house as soon as they are able to do so. Do you agree or disagree with the statement?
I agree with the statement and believe that children should be encouraged to help the family. They helping with chores will extend to their future. My reasons are as follows.
First of all, this is how they learn new practical skills of life. They can practice them immediately while doing their chores, because learning by doing is most effectively.
For example, helping with chores not only clean but also have to arrange stuffs. They can through chores to build up their organization capability. During the time, they can build pride and self-confidence.
Second, doing chores teaches them responsibility. Don’t let them think housework not their business; only parents have to do. Children have to learn how to deal with some problems of their life and then help others. Family is the basic core. Therefore, this behavior will affect many things in children’s future.
Third, through the process, a child is building good lifelong habits. Such as clean their room. Besides, they can learn to manage their time. To utilize the rest of fun time to help family and keeps the home’s clean.

However, only the eucalyptus tree flourishes, because it is uniquely able to utilize the nutrients release by fire and then to store those nutrients for later use. The eucalyptus tree has thick bark to resist damage from fire. It’s so resilient against fire, if branches are burn-off then new once will emerge. Of course, the bole is damage by fire and a new trunk will grow.

Studying Alone or in a Group
Some students like to study alone. Others like to form study groups with other students. Do you prefer to study alone or in a group?
I prefer to study with a group and we have the same target to encourage our morale of study. Study groups just like a team work and we have to plan a schedule of the time and progress. By the schedule, it produces cohesion for us. For me, it’s effect more than study alone. The reasons are as follows.
First of all, study with groups can avoid me from lazy, because I have to follow the schedule with my group. The most important is that study groups will create an atmosphere to enhance the effect of study, so that makes me more into the situation. I think it’s a natural effect to people. Therefore, when I saw my partners studied hard and I won’t be lazy. I will keep going to study.
Second, I can easily to solve problems of study groups. A group means they are cooperation and collaboration. For example, I encounter problems we can discuss and solve them together. Thus, it works out than study alone, doesn’t it? As the saying goes: “ Two heads are better than one.”

Nowadays the lottery is a popular game for people. I have bought it once but not gained the prize. It can’t be denied that I dream about the prize from lottery and it can complete many things. My reasons are as follows.
First of all, I will buy houses if I win the lottery. It’s realty idea most, because real estate will increase the value. I can use the real estate business to gain more money then to complete more things. For example, lottery is my asset, it offers me to buy houses not only in my nation, but also buy houses oversea. My choice of prize would be the car over the vacation, because it’s more practical. Although I need a break now, the car’s benefits are more than the vacation. My reasons are as follows.

Renting an Apartment or Living in Dormitories
University students can choose to live in the community by renting an apartment, or they maybe opt to live in university dormitories. Which do you prefer?
I prefer to live in an apartment rather than a dormitory. University students look forward to when they move out of their parent’s homes and I would like to enjoy feeling of freedom, too. The reasons are as follows.
First, apartment life that means I have a real home in the community. This gives me an independent space and leaves me from noise of university dormitory. I can do anything in anytime, as long as I want. For example, when I come home from classes I can sleep, watch TV or study at any time.
Second, it’s easy to entertain my friends, because I have my own kitchen and can cook my favorite food even if I can stock fridge with snacks. For example, when the festival is coming I can hold a party at my home with friends. We can have fun all day.
In addition, I can decorate my home with my love style. It makes me feel more comfortable and feel delight everyday. For example, I can buy drapes of my love color and a bed sheet with my love style. I can make all styles by myself and don’t need to care about parent’s idea. It’s such as a real personal space.

Go car in Tau Yuan
Go car is a kind of small vehicle race and it's my first time to drive this type of car.
I feel a little nervous, because it looks fast. Fortunately, my friend had experienced to the race of car, and it let me feel more relieve.
As long as you are here first time, they will teach you the rules of the race. That’s in order to keep your safe. First, everyone needs to wear the head cover and safety hat. Second, the chassis of car is too low, so that if your hair is long, you have to wear the jacket and put your hair into it to avoid hair drawn into the car. Finally, you can’t deliberately hit other cars, or you can’t join the race.
We have eight people in our round and a round is eight minutes. I totally drive nine circles only but my hand and arm feel hurt. Because the steeling wheel of car is too heavy for me.
After the race, you will receive a report about your velocity and your ranking. The speed 43 seconds is my fastest speed of the nine circles. My ranking is number five and it means I’m the last third of ranking. haha.
For me, it’s a good experience and it relieves stress.

First, egg has protein and full of nutrition. Therefore, it can enhance food value for dishes. For example, we know the instant noodles are not good for health but I always make it with egg. Egg can recover the non- nutrition of instant noodles. It’s delicious and convenient for me.
Second, egg can be used in many ways of food. It can be fried and boiled in hundreds of different recipes. For example, I fried rice and egg together to make the fried rice and egg. Even though, I boiled the egg to make a salad.

In my closet I have clothes of many color, but my favorite color is white. White is a basic color and it’s easy to match with other colors. I feel that I always look good and feel good when I wear white. The reasons are as follows.

sunny day!!
Today we finally left the city to played outside. The destination was Ilan. Our first station was to ate roast chicken. We knew the restaurent from TV. So we decided to tasted while the good weather.
The concoct of chicken was very diffrient, because they used special wood to roasted the chicken not through coal. Just like the picture show you.
The meat tasted flexible and skin of chicken was very crisp.
After ate, we went to the 冬山河親水公園. It was my fist time went to there.
First, we went to rented a tandem bicycle. I have long time no rode bicycle. We quickly feel tired after we rode about 1 hours. We looked like old people haha.

I’m not good at sport, but swimming is the one that most I want to learn most. I admire who swim well. I deeply determine to learn swimming is because of an accident as I was a child. Because of that I can’t conquer the mental barrier, I can’t swim anymore. I know swimming is a less harmful sport. Therefore I want to learning swimming.
Besides, swimming won’t let you sweat and feel hot, especially in hot season. For example, playing basketball and football or golf is intense exercise. You have to expose your self directly to the sun. But swimming can reduce heat by the water. You won’t feel uncomfortable. You not only develop your body but also can enjoy the sunshine.
Moreover, swimming can shape our body through water pressure. It’s a good way and easy to keeps the best state of our body. So that, we often heard people suggest ladies swimming. What was your worst subject in school?
My worst subject in school was math. I didn’t understand it as thoroughly as other subjects. Furthermore, it was hard for me to saw the relation between math and my life, although the basic counting can be used in many ways.
I just can’t realize the point of studying so many abstract formulas and equations. Is it of any help for my future? For me, it’s not a required course. I think I could have been good in math if my teacher had taken more time to explain it to me.
Math includes many forms for us to process and they make me dizzy. I deeply resist those complex forms from my heart. Therefore, it’s too hard for me to accept the study in math well. Maybe I need to find some fun way to help my study in math.
For the above reasons, math is a boring subject and also it’s my weakest subject in school.

An effortless machine
Today I want to recommend a vacuum cleaner. It's not a ordinary machine,it's smart and especially it's an automatic cleaner.
I think this kind of vacuum cleaner is very common in America.
We also can easily find it mported from America in large amount now.
The advantages of this machine are as follows:
1) It saves a lot of effort.
2) If you are a housewife, you don't have to spare time to clean the house.
3) It has automatic recharging function ( when it detects your house is clean or the battery is running dead , it will go back to the charger.)
My mom reduced a chore since she bought this vacuum cleaner.
It's really helpful, so we called it "Maria", which is a common name for a Filipino maid. haha!!

Do you prefer to choose online courses or you prefer to choose traditional courses?
Opinion A
I prefer to choose traditional courses,Even thought online courses are more convenient than traditional courses.
Traditional courses are the original type, and it symbolizes the first place where a child learns to adapt in the society. Traditional courses mean every student has to go to school and study in the class.
A traditional class, where students can interact with teachers and classmates, brings more fun to students. Likewise, teachers can more feedback from students too.
I think traditional courses are better for me.

I prefer to choose online courses, because it’s convenient and I don’t need to waste time on traffic. My reasons are as follows.
First, online courses are though through internet, so that we can study in everywhere as long as we have access to internet.
Second, online courses can be recorded. Students can to review many times by computer and don’t need to take notes by themselves.
Third, online courses keep students from traffic accidents. In other words, it will reduce mortality rate of students due to bad weather.
For the reasons above, I prefer online courses.

Blood transfusion
Today I read a passage that was talking about blood transfusion.
After I read the passage, I couldn't wait to share with everybody.
We know blood transfusion is an important role for patient who needs an operation, but we don't know why they use blood transfusion on medicine.
And I know the reasons from the book now.
In the 1665, Dr. Richard Lower carried out the first blood transfusion by managing to keep two dogs alive. He transfused blood from one dog to the other. First he cut the dog's neck and he almost killed them in the process. Then he cut an artery from an ox that he placed in the neck of one dog to connect to the other's. He created the first transfusion connection.
In 1667 Dr. Jean Denys succeeded to transfused blood of a lamb into a human.
Therefore, today doctors use transfusion of blood to save people's lives.

Pictogram can be used in numerous languages, such as Korean, Japanese, Chinese and English. A pictogram can be understood in any languages. It tells a story understandably only by using pictures.
Therefore, a road sign is also used worldwide as nonlinguistic symbolization.
According to the history, it can provesthat mankind is smart.
